'No Makeup' Makeup For A Swimwear Photo-shoot

It's been quite a while since I did any freelance makeup work; I spent a long time focusing on my YouTube channel and if I'm honest, I kind of miss it (not those painfully early starts though, let me tell ya). So when my friend was organising a photoshoot for her new swimwear brand (Kurv Swimwear if you're curious, it's for fuller busted ladies and it's FAB), I jumped at the chance to do the makeup.

We shot at Bronte Beach, starting at 6.30am to catch that magical morning light, and it was so. much. fun. I created a very natural, peachy look on the model - I really didn't want her to look as though she was wearing makeup, just naturally fresh and gorgeous.

In today's video, I'm recreating the makeup on my own face and splicing in clips of the actual makeup application on the model. It's not the most dramatic transformation ever, but I love how it looks! Press play on the video to watch!
